Newborn Sessions
Newborn sessions are best done in the first 2 weeks from birth. This is when babies are super tiny and sleep through the session which makes them get into those really cute poses!
Before your newborn photography session even begins I will guide you through some preparation to make sure your session goes as smoothly as possible. With the right prep, my hope is that baby will be as sleepy as possible for his or her session. Sleepy babies can be moved and posed on my beanbag as well as in props. Baby is the boss of the session and I follow their lead, so if baby doesn’t want to sleep or doesn’t like a certain pose, that’s ok! We will just move on to another setup.
Blooming Desert Photography’s natural and baby led style is more about letting baby lay comfortably and naturally to capture their essence and every little detail. Baby will be gently wrapped and moved to pose them for just the right angles, they won’t be posed into unnatural positions like in some newborn photography genres.
Baby is the focus of every newborn session. Limiting props and colors makes sure all the attention is on your beautiful baby. Your photos will be as timeless and heavenly as your baby.

Their tiny toes, itty-bitty fingers, eyelashes, and lips!
Instead of getting just a few pictures to share on social media, you’ll also have access to professional print labs to turn your photos into physical products! You may also choose to come back to the studio to view samples where you can get assistance in selecting heirloom items (such as albums and wall art) to preserve your precious little one’s photos.
Baby is the focus but family is too.
Family is extremely important to us, so your session also includes some time for images of baby with parents and siblings.

I. Pay a retainer
To secure your session date/time, we require a $100 non-refundable retainer.
II. Purchase the photos you love
After your session you can view the images from your session in an online gallery. You can create your own package of digital photos or physical products.
